This site is run by Obsidian GT Ltd. It's kept deliberately simple: no cookies, no advertising trackers, and nothing you type is stored by the website.
Who is responsible
Obsidian GT Ltd (company no. 16568796, registered in England and Wales) is responsible for any personal details you send us. Director: Wesley Van Tonder. Contact: wes.obsidiangt@gmail.com.
What we collect and why
- Enquiries: if you use the enquiry form, it opens WhatsApp or your own email app with your message filled in. The website doesn't store or send anything itself. When you send it, we receive your name, production or company, contact details and the job details you include. We use them only to reply and to arrange the work you asked about.
- Visitor numbers: we use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views. It uses no cookies, doesn't identify you, and discards visit data after 24 hours. It shows us things like which pages are viewed and the type of device.
Legal basis
We handle enquiry details because you've asked us to respond (steps before a contract) and for our legitimate interest in running the business. We never sell your details or use them for marketing lists.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that don't lead to work are deleted within 12 months. Details linked to paid work are kept for as long as UK accounting and tax rules require, normally six years.
Who else sees it
Only the services that carry the message (WhatsApp or email), the website host Vercel, and our accountant where it relates to invoices. Nothing is shared with anyone else unless the law requires it.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the details we hold about you by emailing wes.obsidiangt@gmail.com. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
