I already work in film, on the transport side.
After five years driving HGVs, I now move tech trucks, trailers and vehicles for major studio and streaming productions, often while the crew is shooting elsewhere or asleep. I know how a unit base runs and how much depends on the kit turning up on time.
Now I want to be on set, learning how shots are actually built, in grip, special effects, camera or the AD department.
What I bring to a production
A trainee who already knows how a production works, can drive anything on the unit and turns up with his own 4x4.
Already on the lot
I work in film transport now. Studio gates, unit bases, early calls and long days are normal for me.
Licensed to Class 1
Car and trailer through to artic. Your department truck always has a driver.
Own 4x4 & tow bar
I can get myself, kit or a trailer anywhere, including fields, tracks and awkward locations.
Safety first
Five years of walkaround checks, load plans and site rules. Kit arrives safe and on time.
Where I can help
Years of driving, loading and handling kit have given me skills that fit naturally into these departments. If you need a reliable pair of hands who already knows how a production runs, I'd love to help.

From a car to Class 1
A full UK licence covering everything a production is likely to need moving, and my own kit for smaller jobs.
5 years of HGV driving, 2 on Class 1. Driver CPC and digital tachograph card, both renewed in 2026. Forklift experience from in-house training (not a formal certificate).
